I installed the current testing version from the Open Rails website and then let it auto-update to the latest unstable version. In both versions the locomotive and cabview loads fine, although I couldn't tell if there were any stutters (game runs at approx. 13 fps).

This unofficial version has been derived from the latest official Open Rails unstable revision U2020.10.16-1021 (which does not include Monogame),

Instructions and additional files to use the AWS TCS are available here http://www.elvastowe...post__p__255510 .

Users having not more than 4 GB RAM are suggested to run selecting general options checkbox for optional run at 32 bit on Win64.

When running on Win64, the player can select if he prefers running at 64 bit or 32 bit. In this second case RunActivity32.exe is run, and only a maximum of 4 GB of RAM can be accessed by OR. If the computer has only 4 GB RAM, selecting the option to run at 32 bit on Win64 is recommended.
Note for developers: Runactivity32.exe is not generated by building the pack, but manually doing a copy of Runactivity.exe, renaming it Runactivity32.exe, and using on the Developer Command Prompt command corflags with the modifier -32BITPREF+

NOTE: ReShade 4.3.0 or older or ReShade later than 4.5.2 must be used. ReShade 4.4.2 doesn't work here. See here http://www.elvastowe...mg-and-reshade/ for an installation guide of ReShade.

When running on Win64, if you are running OR at 64 bit (option not checked) you must point ReShade to OpenRails64.exe; if you are running OR at 32 bit (option checked) you must point ReShade to OpenRails.exe.

It is suggested to unpack the .zip using 7zip, if other unpackers lead to problems.

Instructions for web server:
What you can do now to test it: check the general options checkbox Enable WebServer, and start OR. If you type
http://127.0.0.1:2150/index.html
in your browser of the same PC where OR runs, you'll get a web page with the OR HUD.
You can display the same page also on other PCs, or devices like an Android Smartphone or TV box, or an IPad. In this case however, within the Command prompt you must type ipconfig; you will get some lines as reply, and one of them is
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.114
So, in such case, on the browser of your external device (being in the same internal network of your PC) you will have to type
http://192.168.1.114:2150/index.html

Revision 78 can still be downloaded from here http://www.interazio...loads/index.php (click on OR_NewYear_MG_oldrecent.zip) .

Is there a changelog for ORMG?
I'm running 77, should I update to 78 or 79?
I usually upgrade every 10 versions or so because of the saved games and modifications I do to the heads up display. And having to install ReShade, which really isn't that big of a thing.
Also, while I have you here, I like to use the browser based heads up display on a second monitor but when I click on one of the tabs this

http://www.elvastower.com/forums/uploads/monthly_10_2020/post-1862-0-77840500-1603648851_thumb.jpg

pops up in game and the only way to get rid of it is to restart the sim.
Any way to turn this off?
ORMG is in a different world, especially with ReShade.
Thanks Carlos.

Hi Steve,

I haven't personally developed that part of the code, but I believe it's not possible to let that pop-up disappear.

This little display is actually very useful, though sadly it does not always appear, for example with the train forces & brake information display. It only always appears with the locomotive information display.

It appears when the info dimensions are bigger than the display dimensions.

Oleg,
are you running OR at 64 bit or 32 bit? If you are running at 64 bit, try running it at 32 bit and check if the loading time reduces. Are you using the latest Unstable release? I don't have other ideas.

Checking of "Run at 32 bit on win64" doesn't reduce the loading time. Maybe a little - few minutes. The log of loading at 32 bit attached.
Carlo! Please look at my machine properties. Actually I'm starting to think about a new one...

Ha ha
Carlo!
I sent my child to the Army and was expropriated his gaming computer. Now I get fun with the loading times, fps etc... But I can still see a slight difference between a loading times. As for me - I'm happy with these loading times. Just thought you might be interested.

Regards
Oleg

Oleg,
I see that the Train Simulator folder is located in a Program Files folder. That can and will cause endless problems.
A suggestion would be to move the contents to the root of the C:\ drive. C:\ Train Simulator would be a good choice. If you are using OpenRails/TSRE you only need to move the Global, Routes, Sound and Trains folders.
There are a couple of older MSTS utilities that want to see train.exe in the root folder. You can create a blank text file and just name it train.exe.
This may help clean up some of the errors shown in the log.
