The car's rectangle will now show the engine/car type.

These enhancements have been added:
  • All locomotives and tenders are indicated in green.
  • By clicking on the desired CarID, the camera will switch to the external view that is indexed to the same car.
  • Handbrakes, Brake Hose, Angle Cocks, Coupler, Bleed Off can all be set via a simple click on the respective icon.

Once the "Train Car Viewer" window is visible, the camera view is set to the same CarID.
In this case toggling <2>(front camera) or <3>(rear camera) will only change the view to the current CarID.
When the "Train Car Viewer" is closed, the functionality of the <2> and <3> keys is restored to the whole train.

Available in the unstable version.(2023/10/24)

Regards,
Mauricio

Did anyone already took a look at this new approach for the Train Operations Window? I did and it's really nice. Gives you a better view on for instance the braking system: angle cocks, brake hoses and handbrakes. It all comes into view in the detail window.

I would suggest one change. Currently if you want something to be changed, you click on a picture in the detail window:

If you know what you are doing clicking on the a picture in the main window would be much faster. That way it would be more or less doable to switch on the handbrakes for every car in the BNSF Scenic Sub route. And if you need more detail, the detail window is still available. Please tell what you think of this suggestion.

Yes, I agree, have been following the thread --- this is a wonderful improvement.
