PA-1's?!? Five words: Denver and Rio Grande Western!

Did you do the PB-1's also?

Robert

Robert

The ERIE didn't have any "PB-1's" or "PB-2's. They had 12 PA-1's and 2 PA-2's only. So no. I'm not doing any PB's nor RGW's. Sorry.

4096x4096? Geez, Allen, and I thought 2048 was big! I gotta get OR soon just to stop worrying about not being able to run these beauties. Incredible work!

Allen,

Good job! The models look great!

And SP MK-5, A DL&W version would be great to have too!

Walter, the DL&W didn't have any PAs!!

Allen, that is a nice model. You are going to put me out of business :sweatingbullets:

I don't think you'll have to worry about that. As prolific as you are with building and painting. I can only be amazed. :sign_thanks:

The DL&W suggestion was a mistake on my part. I got confused with the EL PA's.

Carry on.

A what-if scenario of a DL&W scheme on a PA-1 would probably be neat...

Walter

Probably black with a gold stripe or two. :derisive:

The last Erie Lackawanna scheme was originally the Lackawanna scheme. So just look at the EL's gray, maroon and yellow on the PA's and you have it.

Sorry, I was teasing WALTER.

You need to know the back story. In my gmail, I have literally DOZENS of email conversations with Walter and his team about proper Erie and DL&W stock for my 1950's pre-EL set. It's almost unheard of for one of those guys to miss a detail! :derisive:

Ok, ok.

Now I understand.

I think Walter got excited when he heard "DL&W" and "PA's" and forgot about historical context. :derisive:

An ambient occlusion map combined with the normal texture would give the model more depth and more realistic look.

Well. As I said previously. The model had been generated with preliminary textures. They were no where near complete and are still being worked on.

Here you see the PSP file and below that is a ShapeViewer shot. Rivets and other details are still to be added.
