Good day....I just downloaded the recent release of the unstable version of open rails I U2023.11.13-2007 and I noticed when I try to open the track viewer it doesn't load. Is anybody else having the same problem. Before I updated it was working fine. Please any help would be appreciated. If I have posted this in the wrong forum please move it to the right one. Thanks Roburt

Thats the thing I get no error no nothing....When I click on it...I get the spin wheel like its trying to generate then nothing. I even rebooted my computer to see if that would help...After the reboot I clicked on it again and it did pop up for a second then it closed. I am at a total loss on this one.

Do you use reshade?
I seem to remember a thread a while back that linked reshade with track viewer not working.
I use an older version of ORMG with no modification just for track viewer. Shortcut on the desktop.

I do use reshade....but since I updated I have to reinstall it on which I haven't done yet. But I did notice with this new update this was added......Pull request #886 at f74f8da62: Scene viewer extension to TrackViewer. Would this cause the track viewer not to launch?

I think I fixed the issue. Please try the newly published version. It was the OpenAL32.dll not able to load, and I had to apply the same minor workaround that was done in RunActivity.

Try the 3D viewer. Right-click, View here. Mouse wheel to zoom, middle button to rotate, Shtift and middle button to pan. :)

When I try the 3D viewer I get a black window with the OR logo and then about 5 seconds later an error msg pops up for about 3 seconds (nothing useful in it) then a crash back to OR startup screen. Last unstable pull/rebuild was this morning . . .
Logfile shows render process has hung.

WEll your not alone on that......I just got around to trying it and I got the same thing....a blank screen with the openrail symbol then it crashes. Plus I've noticed when I go full screen everything goes enlarged. Like I'm using a magnifying glass......It has never done that before
