Glad it's working for you Tim. At least the MG part.
Now you'll want ReShade.

Thank you Randy. Yeah, I downloaded that as well, and ran with it. I used the ReShadePreset.ini in the ORNYMG folder when I was asked which .ini to use. It seems to work. I guess. Still playing with it. Feeling especially thick today, thick as the big print version of the complete works of Dickens...

But it's so nice to not have all that stuff flashing at me.

Thanks again for the tip.

Hi Randy,

Look'n good - Dawn/Dusk seems to be looking a bit better.

So sorry to be asking dumb questions, but the first install screen on Reshade is asking for the API that monogame uses:

DirectX 9
DirectX 10, 11, 12
OpenGL
Vulkan

Thanks in advance for your help

Rick

Thanks! I assumed DirectX, did not know which one (and why guess?)

How do you get such skies in Monogame? A lovely scene! :thumbup3:

The sky I'm currently using starts with this skydome.png.

I don't think this one's still available.
Then I add the clouds.png that Scott offered in the teragen skys thread.
Attached Image: clouds.jpg
I edited it by adding around 70% transparency.
I turn down the fog/haze using Shift + Minus and adjust the clouds layer Ctrl + Plus or Minus.
Then use the + or - keys to adjust OR's clock to use it's sunset or rise.
