Well, there goes the editors. Too bad, it was certainly a godsend, but if he's been banned, then I can't foresee any further development.

It would depend how long the ban is. If Goku does not take this personally, he will still be here. If not, well I guess we should not think that far yet.

Guys, had I been applying the same expectations of behavior to him that apply to all other members he would have been banned about 3 years ago -- and several times more since then.

Walt asked a simple question; He got a shitty, character-disparaging snarky answer.

Enough is enough. I don't have any intention of letting him back in.

He can continue to post at other sites.

Dave, I understand where you're coming from, it just saddens me regarding his behavior. I remember some of his other, colorful posts, and I support your decision to ensure the quality of this forum. I just wish his attitude was a little better, but that's not my business. Hopefully he won't lock down or discontinue his work is all I'm praying for.

Stephen, I agree completely.

Believe it or not: Initially, I took his "time machine" remark as smart-assed. After I cooled down, I said to myself, "Maybe it's a hint." I have a suspicion it's the advisory to NOT rotate a section that's already in the TDB. (It was a section that I had re-laid pre-TSRE5 -- with MSTS RE -- to reduce the arc length.) That's the first thing on my agenda to try to confirm this morning.

Was I insulted? Sure. But temporarily. But, I'm a believer that every question on a forum deserves a straightforward answer.

Guys,

What happened, has Goku been banned, or what?.

My confirmation attempt failed. I placed a new DT section, unchecked Straight#1 and added a curve. Angle and Radius show. Without adding the new section to TDB, I elevate readily. Elevation angle does not show in Properties.

That deficiency has been around for quite a while. So I guess it was an insult!

That is a serious deficiency. How does he expect one to control grade on real terrain?
