You're not supposed to put it to the TRAINS folder, but rather to the folder above it. In my case it would be C:/MSTS rather than C:/MSTS/TRAINS

I figured out what I was doing wrong. It said "load" at the bottom. I thought I had to have something to click on to load. I just pressed the load button and it worked. Only problem now is that it doesn't show anything. It'll show me that I have consists, but it don't show any pictures. RE does the same thing. It'll show me I have shapes and all kinds of things, but it won't show me anything. I get a white background in the window that's supposed to show the route.

Did you download the appdata from the site as well? Newer versions need that

I thought I did, but it gets confusing what is what on that site. There are several numbers, then there are .zip and .cab files. It's hard to tell when you're supposed to download.

I think you need only the newest set of appdata. If you're not familiar with how the versions are numbered, use the date to determine. I download both the .zip and.cab, but I'm not sure if that's necessary

I downloaded the .zip file and put it in the appropriate folder. It works now.

You can always sort the list of files by date, and cause the newest files to be on the top of the list.

Okay, I can get this program running on my 64 bit Ubuntu computer. I cannot get it to run on my 32 bit Pentium D system with XP on it. It simply dumps to the error report that it wants to send to Microsoft. It'll load the opening window, but when I hit "load", it dumps. It's very aggravating.
