I have loaded markers for two of my own routes with no problems. If a route has no markers and the option is selected, the program crashes to desktop.

Fixed.

New version can load markers from KML files, so no need for MKR conversions:

After I lay a piece of track and rotate it, how do I find what gradient the track is?

It will be in next version:

Great tool!
Version 6128 still had the console window displayed, which was useful to get the UID of an object, like a turntable. How do I turn on the console output, or get the uid of a turntable in newest version (6132)?

(EDIT: - I just discovered that the output is now written to the log file "log.txt". so all is well.)

It was supposed to enable console in settings.txt, but something is broken ...
You can find console output in log.txt file.

But, if you want to get UiD of an object - it is visible in properties window.

I agree, but for an object like an "A1t27mTurntable.s" turntable; the property window says: "unsupported: trackobj", and does not show any data.

Including the UiD() is good.

WRT the copy/paste functions, please consider adding Copy/paste both values. When you are working with track and you do a copy of the Position you will almost always do a copy of the Qdirection as well. This is akways for something under or over the the track -- a berm, bridge, or signal bridge. The first two need both Position() and QDirection(), the third also needs both plus a rotate 90d. I cannot think of a situation where copy/paste of track Position() does not include both values... perhaps one or more of the interactives, but for shapes, always both.

For copy paste of Qdirection only, that's a very common activity and what you have here should work well.

Now if you want to add something really useful consider copy/paste of Positon() and Qdirection() followed by move n meters on a line following d degrees -- which also offers a choice of relative to track or absolute to compass. The math is more complex of course but the function would be a great help to every route builder.

For this usage is function 'stick to track'. I will add offset in xyz meters.

If you add the math to move a model n meters in d direction, please don't limit its use to offsets from track; allow its use on any static objects. That will help a lot in the final positioning of many models. And movement in d direction will be ideal if there is a choice between moving in the compass direction and relative direction to the models own rotation.

Doing this fully will be a huge addition to the utility of the program relative to the old KUJU RE.
