Maybe you just clicked 'Jump' to marker location, but there is no terrain yet? In that case, press 'B' to create new tile.
If this happen right after application start - plesae send me this route.

I have a couple of questions on the functionality of "B" to create a new tile:

1. does it update the MSTS quad tree?

2. does it automatically subdivide the tile into 256 subtiles?

3. at what altitude is the tile created?

Thanks

chris

Pardon me if my doubt is inadequate. Since I am a beginner, I find it difficult to route the track through the mapping. Also is there any way that make track building easy? Please explain the scope of dynamic tracks...

1. Yes.
2. yyy, yes? It makes standard MSTS 2048x2048 tile. In details: I use template files located in "resources/templateRoute/tiles". I copy it, rename and edit buffer file names inside .t file.
3. Default 0 m. But my terrain tools have easy tools to set custom terrain height.

Current version has bug - if you create new route and exit without adding another tile by pressing 'B', terrain quad tree will not be saved.

I loaded up my existing test route and I am not noticing any of the objects that are in the ref file for selection. Is there a step that I missed or a possible bug? I am using the latest version which is 64bit.

You mean, Ref list is empty and .ref file is not? All my .ref files works ok. You can send me the .ref if you want.

My initial template that I use for new routes is quite loaded, so there should be quite a bit to choose from. I will upload the ref file. The ref file is from my test route route, but it also matches the template.

Thanks. You found a bug. My parser tried to load all objects inside .ref file as ref items, but it didn't expected 'skip' objects and failed during loading skip object as ref item.
I added exception for skip, comment and include items.
