I believe there are only 2 bogies per model. The other bogies are another model. Correct me here Allen. Isn't this Shay a combination of two or more models? Each model having two bogies apiece?

This isn't the original 3 truck Shay I started with. This is a 2 truck version that I built to see if animations could be corrected after moving the model from it's original center line. And it was successful. But the drive shafts couldn't be made to animate other than rotate. Hence 2 more trucks to handle the orbit when turning a curve. And it seems to be working. Note that Herb and Tom are in the cab and seem to be happy with the conversion.
The model with crew came in at a modest 27,889 poly's and 19,313 vertices.
What can I say. You have to experiment to find the limitations.
Model loads right up toot sweet.

You got the bull part right. Bull headed. Interesting. I didn't know that. I knew about the Weiner and terrier parts.
Shay 15 now has a helper to push those loads of logs and lumber. I got interested in moving animated parts and decided to try it. The only parts that need be edited are the motions. Rotational parts updated on their own. This is the result. A Shay 5 on the rear.
Now where did I hear that name before?

Well, well. Nice shay. Sorry, wrong shay5. :oldstry: CSRR shay 5 is standard gauge and is the oldest steam loco operating.

I knew if I put that little line in there I'd hear from Shay 55. Was a sure bet. :oldstry:

Yep. It's me! Prety good job on both shays. Cass never ran narrow gauge.
