I have it installed and started running an activity which starts with an S-2 alone. Goes into Manual Mode and backs into a yard. Couple onto 18 cars and sorts out 12 to take up the hill to Johnstown.
F5 shows the engine's hoses NOT coupled to the cars which do have their hoses coupled. After releasing the handbrakes on the cars, the engine is shown as released but the cars are all in Lap. After dropping off the first cut of cars, I came out of that siding and heading into another to drop two cars off but before I got there the engine and cars came to a stop. For whatever reason the engine's air hose coupled to the string of cars and it was now stopped pumping up the air.

As you can see, MP 1 did not show up until I passed it, but no MP 2, 3, or 4...

... until about MP 1.7, then they do appear.

If these highlighted links do not work for you, I'm certain it is a problem at your end - plenty of other people (myself included) have successfully downloaded from here (and no log in required):

I was looking for a download button or the same sort of arrow pointing down that Dan sees. I did see the five "asset" links, but none of them said they were v1.5 so didn't try them until a couple of hours ago. So yes, now I do have the test version thanks!
Strange that Dan gets a download arrow with a dropdown menu and it doesn't show for you or I.

The other page has a green button, where on Your screenshot the button "compare" is.
That green opens drop-down list, and most bottom entry is download *.zip
GitHub looks very confusing at first times.

The thing you are referring to is their browser downloads UI, which appears after they have clicked the links under "Assets" to start the downloads. You must always click a link under "Assets"!

Together with several others, we started a multiplayer session on the test version. Basically, it's relatively good, compared to the previous stable OR version. On the other hand, the trains of other players I have seen move in jerks, in fact they lag. And other players in the session experienced the same thing. As a result, it cannot be completely ruled out that this increases the risk of freezing or the server falling apart.
Sincerely,
Marci

I've done a little testing with ORv1.5rc1.
Testing has been using the same route, the same rolling stock, and the same activity.
Yesterday I noticed when my unit backed onto a string of cars in the yard, I did not connect any air hoses, just released the hand brakes, and the rolling stock went into Lap.

This morning I started the same activity. When I coupled to the cars, I did not connect any air hoses, just released the hand brakes, but this time the rolling stock showed emergency.

I went to uncouple five cars in another track but when I clicked on the right arrow at the bottom of the Train Operations window the Car Operations Menu popped up. Closed it, tried again, same thing. I them clicked on the space beside the right arrow trying to get the Train Operations window to scroll to where I wanted to uncouple and OR uncoupled the train where it wanted.

Third try I was able to duplicate the last try.

Just shut that computer off and turned it back on to see what random thing will happen this time.
If anyone from Open Rails wants to give this a try themselves, please let me know and I'll put together something to make it as easy and painless to download this activity and it's rolling stock.
