Hello, Tim and Randy.
IMHO, either new official ORTS, or MG - do offer such effect, when the Sun is close to horizon.
As Randy have adviced; proper amount of fog (adjust it by SHIFT plus/minus) tints sunlight to very rear yellow/brown.
This means, sunset/dusk effects are still need to be improved, after white-green ones before.
After getting satisfactional sunlight color, adjust clouds thickness by Ctrl plus/minus, for getting desired appearance.

How did the new power work out on the VSL?
I Like the old foundation and weed action going on there.

Worked out fairly well except Jimmy, the fireman, couldn't find the firebox door.
He's not happy.
At one time Watson had a depot,

but it burned down sometime in the 20s and was never rebuilt.
What there was of the town withered away to nothing except for the team track and elevator.

I'm making this up as I go along, emulates life.

Looks great! The first pic is very dynamic. What FOV, 50 degrees or so?
Gee, when you say it like that, -makes me feel like an ol' timer and realize that I'm the same age as old people!
Keep 'em coming, Randy.
