I really haven't seen it from the point of view of those that have the DVD. So I don't know what those other activities are in there. I just got a minimum glimpse of it from the public beta release out at Train-Sim. Plus, I haven't even completed the first base activity let alone all three of them.
But I do appreciate the efforts made by the team of people that put this thing together. The sheer thousands of hours spent on putting it together from separate sections then merging them all together. That must have been quite an effort. Thanks all to you folks of the PRRE team. And I know one can get lost easily in this huge route.

It's a great route from what I've seen so far. Earth shattering compared to some of todays high quality routes, maybe not. But considering how long ago this project was started and the size, it would take a team of people forever to bring it up to todays standards. And by then it would be out dated. I personally think they did a great job and appreciate all the time and work put into it. And I'm great full they decided to share it with the public.

I couldn't have said it better! Though I do think it is earth shattering due to its sheer size! All the objects that it requires, trackage, etc. and so forth!

Here's mine from the first activity that I finally completed. The consist I customized to add some of my own from my already existing set of PRR stock.
Just before entering NYC proper.
I noticed some garbage laying around the sides of the tracks. That really took me by surprise. I was wondering at first what those things were until I took a closer look at them.
Nice porch areas from some apartments.
A look around the New York City Union Station.
A view from the observation car.

Looks like a photo taken by O. Winston Link! He was a top railroad photographer in his day! I last saw him on the History channel show "Trains", so he might still be alive!
I want to add that I have a deep appreciation to all the route builders who put their work into their respective excellent routes. Lastly but definitely not leastly all the people who worked on combining all the routes into the "MegaRoute" it is today!

This is an awesome picture, just screams Pennsy to this observer. :good:
Looks like a pretty decent route, for an eastern road ;).

Tim, Thanks for the compliment on the picture. I'm not an eastern route guy either in todays world, but back in the day the Pennsy screams railroading at its best. And all the electric stuff and steam is fun for me. With 3,000 miles of track it may keep me busy for a while.
Thanks to all that made this route possible.
Great screen shots everyone.
