Just a few shots of mine near the area of Horseshoe curve. I've lost three shots from my pass at Horseshoe Curve when I was running another activity one after the other. And I forgot to save the shots first before running the next activity. Anyway, here are what's left of those that did survive.
I think these two were after I got out of Gallitzin tunnel.

Yes, that is 3 sets of drivers on that steamer, also known as a Triplex. Thanks to Richard Cowen for the wonderful Triplex he released. I think this is the only colors he made though. None in the real world Virginian names.

That's because in the real world the ERIE and VIRGINIAN Triplexes didn't look anything like Richard Cowens fantasy triplex. Richards
locomotive was made from a B&O EL3 to which he added another engine under the tender. I think it was made for one of Rich Garbers
routes and activities. He may have used a bit of designer license in his creation. A kind of what if.

Yes, I know it's not exact. And yes I know it's meant for Rich Garber's route. That's not news for me. I know all of that. It's still a neat engine even if it's not for real. :D Richard Cowen, for the neat engines.

Ok. I managed to get back to the area around Horseshoe Curve. Well, just took two shots here with the locomotive showing the area of it. But there really isn't any sign on the rails saying that that is the area. No sign even on the scenery saying that either, other than the steam locomotive sitting outside of the tracks surrounded by a fence.
The rest of the shots here are from the area of the Mystery Hole with a shot of the hole itself.
Here's the Mystery Hole itself. I could see in it and looks just like a hole. But I can't really go into it with the camera view. When I try it, the view just goes up the hillside.
This sign here should read Mystery Hole in here.
I also want to add. Turn your volume up when you get around the Mystery Hole. I think I hear the recorded voice of HAL 9000 from the movie 2001:A Space Odyssey. If it's not, the voice sure sounded like it. LOL
I wouldn't have noticed the Mystery Hole had I not looked further into the surrounding scenery. :D That's all for now.

Nice shot from up in the one interlocking tower located near Cresson. I'm also glad to see the PB70s, P70's, and D78a's are finding some use after all. Also of mention, I think you probably captured the true dinginess with the Pics of NY Penn Station.
