Hi Malte, Is that what your user name stands for? pery scope was the name of the Pacific Electric's in-house news letter, back in the day.
Just as an aside, there are many copies of the PE Magazine at the Internet Archives. From 1919 to 1953.
Dave, I am amazed that you have the first PET, 2008. I don't even have that one. It's nostalgic for me to run those old routes, but I also see too many things that need "fixing" or updating, that nostalgia soon dissipates. :lol2:
Paul, which routes do you still have?
From off the "Arrow" branch line south of Santa Myrnaloya. PET3, I believe..
Street Cars Anybody running street or interurban cars these days?

Yes, Tim, you got it right. I first saw Mr. Pery Scope in the great book "Pacific Electric in Color". I bought it at a railroad convention about 25 years ago. And I just liked the guy.
That’s when my interest in PE began. And then you built the beautiful models for MSTS.
Here are two more alibi pictures.

Yeah, that's the guy! Pery the Motorman!
I am wondering who the cartoonist was. Google doesn't know.. A son of the Agent in Covina in the 1930's started drawing cartoons for the PE Magazine at age 17, his name was Studebaker. I am wondering if he's the guy.
Anyway, a nice little diversion. :) Good to see more of your traction scenes. Especially catching a Hollywood backing up street traffic so well.

That was said, sometimes trolleybuses drivers did some kidding: put off their uniform coat, sat in passenger's seat and begin to complain, as real passengers getting in: I can't wait any more! Where is that damn driver? I have no more time to wait! Then, as real departure time came and many passengers took their seats, he went to driver's seat, turn trolleybus on, closed doors and left.
Screenshots are very nice for me.

Great.
Happy New Year, Malte!
I should add, that narrow-gauge Gothas are present even in Eastern Europe right to Eupathoria.
These one's painting scheme reminds me E111 locomotive of DB :)
