From a table by the window at Marlene's Restaurant we see that a pair of 950's stop with a Special train.

So, finishing my cup of coffee, I get out to grab a pic..

Tim, the Mountain Electric was released 15 years ago. The Interurban and the tram were only a small part of this route. With my upgrade, that's what I primarily focused on as well. Here are a few more pictures.

I really like the Sellwod Carbarn. :) I haven't installed it on the Bridgeport Electric Railway at the moment because it's a bit too big for the rather small tram network.

The objects come from different routes. The sidewalks came from the Monon Route. I myself have only recently started 3D modeling via Blender. However, at the moment I am more focused on narrow gauge cars from my home country Germany.

What is "special train" here?

It is a privately chartered train for the local railroad "boosters", (what are now called rail fans). The PE hosted many such events and appreciated the "Boosters". On many such trips, the fans would change the roller destination signs to different places for their "photo ops". So you might see a car on the Venice Short Line with a destination board reading San Bernardino or Long Beach, not in reality connected to the Venice Short Line. So, this special was wandering the "entire PE system" for the Boosters that day.

Could've been. ;)

Malte, I remember that the ME was a sprawling route, and was very inspiring to me to build my own sprawling traction routes. Before I knew what I was getting myself into..;)

It's very nostalgic and satisfying seeing your screen shots.

Speaking of waxing nostalgia,

I fired up my oldest surviving MSTS PE route, my first foray into using Scale Rail.

thanks, Tim, I believe, I see now.
So, this was a tram-set, assigned to serve a kind of excursion ride.
Here, the similar events take place, when some fans (so-called tram-maniacs sometimes) pay for organizing such event.
I shared YT links to video footage from such rides on 1976-dated tram across city's survived network, with reversing through depot #1

Great screenshots as before, by both, Tim and Malte.

Hi,

From the early days of virtual railroading on the North Arkansas Electric railway. The NAE is an electrification of Andre Ming's St. Louis & North Arkansas.

An awesome Tim Muir 10 series at Berryville.

Yet another 10 at Seligman.

Mike, Awesome! I, too, made an electrified North Arkansas line, way way back. It modifies very neatly into a country interurban line. I'm glad to see you still have yours.

Paul don't you have a copy of the first PE route I started? or one of them? ( lol)
