It's all math.......

5x = x + x + x + x + x

It's the same process used to build a smooth incline - each piece gets more or less of an angle so that it isn't abrupt.

Yeah exactly, in fact, i now use this method... so, for a curve i start with some 1x or 2x pieces and at the center i use the r10 or r5 with an ending of some 2x or 1x pieces.. :-D
