Sadly, it's the reason. But I just have accepted it.

Sorry to read that, Goku.

The price for development of TSRE seems quite high.
We all should appreciate that sacrifice.
Road of a project is sometimes paved with it's developers "bones".

Else, I wish You, Goku to recover your health, at least partially.

Goku, could you help point us towards or upload the QT files needed to be able to edit and compile the source in Visual Studio or another compiler? It's not an environment I've seen used much, and a lot of us working with ORTS are already using Visual Studio.

For VS you have to make new project and import TSRE files. You can compile using dynamic QT instead of static. Try to stick with mingw instead of vs c++ compiler, otherwise you may encounter some low level bugs.

Too few people are using it compared to the work required for development.

Hello Goku

It is used by many more people than you think, only you do not know about it. Young people only use it. Great tool for big tracks. It is also very good when the size limit set by the MSTS RE needs to be exceeded or when a shape that is larger than the limit set by the MSTS is needed. It has opened up new avenues in building modeling.
Unfortunately, there are two features in track construction that make MSTS RE better. So sometimes I have to go back to it.

Sincerely, Laci1959

What are you missing in TSRE for track construction?

A másik Fixed Height értéke.

Tisztelettel Laci1959

Select a larger area in a separate window. It kind of works weird. It is based on the upper left corner of the framed selection.

Thank you Goku.

You have taken me back to route building, offering possibilities never available in MSTS and a far more stable working environment. My speed of work means it may be many years, if at all before any of my routes is shared.Nevertheless trying to build them is giving me great pleasure.
Look after yourself.
Darwin.

I deed. I remember the creator of MSTS Bin George had his marriage break down because of the huge effort he put into Bin, and the appreciation is often much less than deserved....
