I've been experimenting the last couple days.
Lighting has always been an issue with me so I came up with this.

The video shows progression of sundown with the lights coming on without affecting the overall brightness of the model.
This is how.
I build a box inside the structure and gave it it's own textures including night textures.

The main structure's windows are transparent with various transparencies for the blinds and curtains. It doesn't have a night texture.
It also has a nice 3D effect.

It ain't fancy but it works.

Love this one. It adds a lot to a previously barren corner. Seen here on the PE West

But I can't get the night textures to work. The interior .dds file is in the NIGHT folder within TEXTURES. I am running OR 1.5.1.
