Yes, the Dutch manufacturer of the TEE-Trains back in 1957. Ontario Northland bought four used trainsets in 1977 from the Netherlands State Railway. I think they originally made nine of these trainsets.

Dutch rolling stock looked very specially.
Futuristic, as a jet liner.

Hello Paul,

 charland, on 23 June 2022 - 12:10 PM, said:

ONR TEE-Train now with Werkspoor power.

Funny, I downloaded a dozen European type engines looking for late 50s diesel sounds and most of the "European" engines were aliased to the MSTS GP-38 sounds from two decades ago! Found a few that said to 'use my original sounds' but they were nowhere to be found. Ended up downloading the P&WV FM H 16-44 with sounds by Harold Clithroe and it sounds pretty nice.

Paul :-)

Maybe the author of this project possesses the right sounds? There is a contact address in the link.

TEE-Train 1985 with it's FP7Am is now running. Just need to tinker with the lighting section before taking it for a real test run.

Hi Nathalie,

I found this site a few days ago when I was just looking for any European diesel from the late 50s to use the sound from. I'm not so good reading German, but from what I could figure out, I needed to register just to look through the library... that's when I stopped looking and downloaded the FM sounds from Trainsim.com. Nice looking TEE Train model though, I do wonder what the creator used for sounds though.

The northbound TEE-Train departs Toronto at 1230 and arrives in Timmins at 2330, so in the dark. Added interior lighting to the three cars, surprising what you think of when you wake up at 3 in the morning!

Uploaded to the library... ONR TEE-Trains. A set that includes all you need to make either the original Ontario Northland "Northlander" with the Werkspoor power unit, or the later FP7Am the ONR converted to replace them. Two activities are also included for Trains 121 and 122.

Hi, Paul.
Do I understand it right, that these trainsets were bought from Europ, then, as no spare parts were available for maintenance of power cars, they were propelled by equal-power F7's accommodated for working with trainset?
I see the powerless head-carriage with cab, power car without passenger cabine, and US locomotive, coupled to trainset, without clear vision, what is its distant-end car.
