Thanks. Please give U2020.07.28-1751 a try. There was an STF reader bug that may have affected your .eng and .wag files.

I used Scott Brunner´s 2-8-0 which had variable weight with friction settings in them; also as far as I observed the code it´s also possible to modify diesel locomotives that way for actual fuel consumption. I know this might be kind of niche issue but there quite many of them.

Found the cause, and it's not related to the new train format. Let's take this to the bug report.

A .con file based on an .eng file containing a period, like e.g. E405.035.eng doesn't load in U2020.08.01_0506, see here http://www.elvastowe...post__p__261113 .
