Still if your rig has gone from 400 FPS to 44, this is not a "good" thing, as we can infer that performance has dropped by almost an order of magnitude (even less FPS in my case!). I use adaptive vsync to hover as close to 60 FPS as possible. I will have to investigate what happened to OR MG after Rel 35, which in my case includes dynamic shadows and very large shadow maps (something that I am not willing to live without). The first indication of trouble is the ramping up of GPU usage, which is apparent in external tools like MSI Afterburner (nice graphs).
