Hi Kid,

Thanks - I'll keep that in mind as I've been using the "Unstable" version using the Updater for a while - I'll go back to the Zip files for the latest updates from now on...

This was Carlo's statement that made me think both were updated at the same time...

Quote

Rel. 40 of OR NewYear MG is available as always here http://www.interazio..._NewYear_MG.zip .
It is aligned with unstable rel. U2019.10.26-0321 of the official OR, which does include Monogame.

I didn't have enough time last night to test thoroughly - but I seemed to be taking a bit of a hit on the frame rates from what I normally see - in case others report same...

In addition to no ReShade...

Regards,
Scott

Scott,
ReShade seems to work here (at least Shift-F2 starts the ReShade dialog box). However I found a possible problem, and have uploaded at the usual address an Or NewYear MG pack with a rebuilt OpenRails64.exe. Pls. re-download the pack (after having cleared the existing OR_NewYear_MG folder) and try again.

Install is not working for me. OR Main window opens, Press Start, window closes, few seconds elapse and start window reappears, OR fails to start.I pointed reshade to the OpenRails64.exe file. to install reshade.Desktop shortcut points to OpenRails.exe
Downloaded latest version (ver 40 )
It's been awhile since I installed a new version ( got stuck at v19 ) so I probably missed something.
edit: wiped everything, got fresh file, new install, only this time without installing reshade ( or using the OR64.exe ) and program open and runs.

In the unstable versions and in the monogame there is a bug about italian FS E646-645 1st series

For the E645-090 the problem you reported does not occur with the Monogame and the Unstable version, as you can see from the image

Attached File  test645-090.jpg (101.3K)
Number of downloads: 0

while for the E646-028 the problem is due to the 3d of the loco, (this thing had already been reported on an Italian site) if you don't like to see the small black triangle you can simply rotate the loco by moving the two half-cases in the .con file of the locomotive as shown below:
Train (
	TrainCfg ( "FS-E646-028"
		Name ( "FS-E646-028" )
		Serial ( 1 )
		MaxVelocity ( 38.88889 1.00000 )
		NextWagonUID ( 2 )
		Durability ( 1.00000 )
		Engine (
			UiD ( 1 )
			EngineData ( FS_E646_028B FS_E646_028 )
		        Flip()
                )
		Engine (
			UiD ( 0 )
			EngineData ( FS_E646_028 FS_E646_028 )
		        Flip()
		)
	)
)

obviously you can do it for the other locomotive too.

Attention to give the correct information when you open a new discussion, we can not go crazy to look for the rolling stock or other objects, in order to try to analyze the problem, in this case the loco you reported are part of two different rolling stock packages independent of FS E646-645 1st series, as indicated by you.

Hi Jerry,

The latest from Carlo's link seems to work now with ReShade... I was able to install it last night... Here's what I did - fresh download from Carlo's link - cleared the contents of my ORTS directory - pasted the contents of the downloaded file into my ORTS directory... Then started the ReShade installer pointing it towards the 32 bit activity executable... I went into the ORTS [Options] [General] and selected the option to "Run 32 bit on 64 bit machine" - and it came up... I don't think you want to use the 64 bit executable yet - as there is a bad vibration induced on the train that I believe is being worked by the team...

Regards,
Scott

I'm sorry, I mean II series, not I series, these packages:

https://www.trainsim...oad.php?did=312

Only on part A of the locomotive

I found my problem, after finding and reading my ReShade install instructions, which said to point ReShade installer towards runactivity.exe --- I had been pointing it towards OpenRails.exe...ooops!!

Hi Jerry,

I’ve been doing precisely the same thing until this version... I’m wondering if this might fix the issue I’ve been having with Track Viewer failing to run with ReShade - I’ll have to try it....
