Train Shadow Shadow casted by train on the ground

I was wandering if there is any way to increase the intensity of the shadow of the train.
The world objects cast good dark shadows on the ground but the train casts a very vague or light shadow.
Is there anyway we can make it look better?
Hope the dev team looks into this.
Keep up the beautiful work...
Cheers,

Do you have any screen shots that highlight the problem you're discussing?

That might partially explain what the OP is seeing, although, I have not experienced it myself.
Contemporary monitors are much more stable then ones from the 1990's and usually are sufficiently calibrated, for most purposes, out of the box.
Note: my experience comes from being a part owner ( 30 years) in a commercial photo lab and digital imaging business.
We always used pucks to calibrate monitors - I use an older GretagMacbeth, still works fine.

The left circle highlights some moiré caused by the sleepers of the track. That can usually be eliminated by increasing the Ansiotropic Filtering settings of your graphics driver settings for Open Rails.

I wouldn't expect so, especially considering any problems with his monitor would not show up in his screen shot.

I wasn't concerned about the anisotropic filtering but the darkness of the shadow casted. The black spot is certainly the shadow and not a black spot in the terrain texture. I have made the registry settings to force on the dynamic shadow for all the objects (ShadowAllObjects), somewhere I found this. I do understand auto-gantries and Forest regions (well I also want them to) do not support dynamic shadows, but the tree is individually placed there as well.
It was a coincidence that the circle fell on the Anisotropic Filtering area...
My Bad, I will post a better picture showing the comparison.

You can have this as an example of the darkness of the shadow. This darkness in shadow is seen for the world objects but the train objects do not cast a shadow of same darkness intensity.
I hope am being clear.
Thanks

I'm sorry, but a 300x168 pixel image doesn't really help.
Shall I interpret the shadows at the left edge of the image as being from world objects?
It is a tiny image but it looks pretty much the same to me. Measuring the RGB values of the different shadows over the same terrain texture areas yields similar results. Maybe R H Steele was on to something?

I will be precise on this thing, the intensity of the shadow casted by a Player train consist or AI, in present lighting system, is very light of vague as compared to the shadow casted by a World object (tree, mountains, factories, vehicles etc). The intensity of the world objects is perfect. I just need that to be same for the train objects.
