I went into this without digging up my MSTS discs, not that I'd be able to use them, since I lost the product code, and I think it shows...

The MSTS disks I bought 22 years ago didn't come with a product key. It kind of generated one when you installed it.
Where did you get yours?

Stamped on the paper cover in the plastic CD case.

Are you sure, Charles?
I have three versions of MSTS - original Microsoft, XPLOSIV and UbiSoft eXclusive, all v1.2, and none of them require the entry of a product key!

Well, Ged, I am partially wrong. 1. It was a cardboard case, not plastic, that the CDs came in. And 2. The Key was not stamped on the case. I wrote it on. The Key is on the opening screen when I ran AutoRun.
