At this stage of development, there is no way that MSTS or ORTS can match those stunning scenes. That last picture has NOTHING in it that betrays the illusion of it being real. Superb.

Thanks Claus for sharing. :sign_thanks:

Though I must admit, it's a bit of a tough pill to swallow. :sorry:

Whoa, just seeing those shots makes me want to make some coffee.

Also, me playing around with various diesels, as usual:

In all fairness, the CF7 doesn't look that bad considering how old the model is.

I love the look of that route but its an odd choice for them to model a 'winter only' route. I bought it a few days ago but not installed.

I have a true love/hate relationship with TANE (or any version of Trainz). Everything about the game is superb EXCEPT the cameras! It's the one drawback that I have and the designers have NEVER addressed request or inquiries why they don't have a free roam camera that allows one to not only view left-right but also up-down -- like every other RR sim in existance! argh...

Well done Klaus. I love your pics.

Astounding screen shots, Claus. You do have an artist's eye for composition and light.

Thanks Andre http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif,

To me, MSTS and OR is still very much alive, but TANE does look superb, a real win-win situation with 3 different simulators http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif.
With TRS2019 appearing on the horizon, I'm excited to see what the future will bring.

Best regards Claus

Okay, can somebody remind me why we MSTS'ers/ORTS'ers shy away from Trainz?
