The turntable works fine with complex, articulated locos, assuming that they fit into the device.
But, I confess, I an unable to get any sound from the turntable.
Obviously I put "turntable.sms" into the sound folder.
It seems to me that they laks some line or parameter relating the shape with the sound.
Please help.
Regards.

Have you inserted the additional .trk include file in the Openrails subfolder?

Actually, is not possible to rotate a .wag
If,say, there is a loco towing a crane.
The loco puts the crane on the table, disengages and leaves the table, remaining the crane ( or any other wagon ) on the table.
Then the table turns, but not the crane.
Is it possible to do something about?
The a1t42... is a single shape, impossible to modify.

Having as a reference post #13 http://www.elvastowe...post__p__202568 of this thread, you have to
1) modify file a1t27mturntable.s within Global\Shapes as described there (this step does not need to be repeated for other routes where you want to have operational a1t27mturntable.s turntables)
2)adding within the base Sound folder the file contained in turntablesSOUND.zip as described there (this step does not need to be repeated for other routes where you want to have operational a1t27mturntable.s turntables)
3) creating a small integration .trk file to be inserted in an Openrails subfolder within the route folder, taking as reference file Sicilia 1.trk included in Sicilia 1.zip there, and replacing Sicilia 1 both as the filename and within the file's line "include" with the name of the .trk file you find in your route (this step must be repeated for every route where you want to have operational turntables)
4) creating a turntables.dat file to be inserted in an Openrails subfolder within the route folder, taking as reference file turntable.dat included in turntables.zip there. In such file following has to be adapted to the specific route:
a) the first number, that must be the total number of turntable blocks included in the files (one turntable block for every turntable to be made operational)
B) the WFile parameter, that must be the name of the .w file where the turntable resides (may be found by using TrackViewer (see example in post #31)
c) the UiD parameter, that must be the UiD of the TrackObj block within above .w file that has the line
(this step must be repeated for every route where you want to have operational turntables)

Thank you Carlo that will be very useful.
There are many ukfs_tt_68ft.s turntables in UK routes. How would this procedure differ for those?

None of the UKFS turntables are modelled in the same way as the a1t27mturntable and therefore in my opinion will not animate in the same way. There are lots of separate parts making the rotating table, and some are linked to the circular rail in the pit as well.
