I sometimes get a 'brainfart' [remember?] and refer to some character locos by character names. It so hapoens that "Galloping Gerty" was perfect for that particular loco. The rundown, work weary, weatherbeaten, look is true to the single colour photo I found on the net.
There is a certain Goth-waif-like look to her, IMO.
The steamer, I nicknamed The Snuffaloppagus, due to its long Ridgway cinder trap pipe off the stack, with acknowledg(e)ment to the "Seseame Street" character of the same name.
