Whatever you did James made a world of difference: 29 seconds vs. 6 minutes, 40 seconds. Will advise if subsequent restarts take an unusually longer time (the others seemed to me to need more time as reuse occurred; might be a false impression tho).

I was curious, how much time would elapse till this question arises. :rofl2: I think your problem is exactly the opposite: the aspect ratio of the route loading image is preserved, so you don't see its bottom. I expect a long argument by the team about stretching vs. zooming, seeing top vs. bottom, or a possible moving of the picture for some seconds. Current behavior is zooming by keeping the aspect ratio, seeing the top. But anything is possible.

What about doing it like MSTS: Add black areas to the parts of the screen that won´t be covered by the image if it is resized to fit the screen?
(keyword is "like MSTS") :rofl2:

I think it's the best solution.
As it is now, on my 16:9 screen route 3:4 splash screens appear with cut text strings and so on. It's not the same thing as cutting a cabview.

I wouldn´t call it excellent - excellent it would be if one could resize the screen to fit the aspect ration of the program running :)
But it´s the same way Win7 handles the msts 4:3 window on a 16:9 monitor. :)

I've found a bug in the loading screen I think.
When I start as server I accidently had the wrong route selected so I closed the Loading screen. (I run windowed)
The OR closed and I restarted it and tried to start with the right route selected but it gave me an error.
Looking through the processes at windows task manager I was the RunActivity.exe was running multiple times.
If I killed the process the OR main menu would come back.
Hope you can confrim the problem or fix it.
Versions was X1913
Cheers Jordi

That also happens to me. And other thing is that I can't see the loading bar... Not even in full screen. :/

I've tested X1915, and it does work on full screen but it doesn't on windowed mode. :oldstry: Just to report it...

It works for me in windowed mode as well... Something strange must be going on your computer, by also considering your loading bar issue.

Does your parent´s laptop have a different aspect ration than your gaming laptop?
Cheers, Markus
