In the cabviews, I note that many things have been fixed - the GG1 ammeters look fine (congrats Mervyn!) but we seem to have lost the ammeter readings during dynamic braking after about X1600 - did they get removed accidentally?

Traction parameters are not implemented correctly/yet.

Antislip ( 1 ) is not being honoured.
Engines with wheelslip control are not being honoured.

cheers

Just a note: MSTS is not correct in some physics - single DASH9 can produce more than 12 MW of power even if the diesel power is 3.3 MW ...

Antislip (1) is considered but the one placed within the Engine () block. There is usually another one within the Wagon () block ... Will be fixed.

The gearbox feature is something we are processing.

Thanks Matej

I have never seen an Antislip in the Engine () block?
I have only ever seen it after the friction lines.

cheers

Is that mode provided by MSTS?

No, but it can be fudged in the physics.

I had nothing to do with the GG1 ammeters, that arrived as a result of something else that was being worked on. The missing dynamic ammeter reading is being looked at as far as I know. The actual dynamic action is working, and the readings are displayed in digital cabs.

Power and braking by a single controller.

MSTS also allows automatic "blending" of friction and dynamic braking though I've no idea if the simulation is accurate.
Most modern UK MUs have a single power/brake controller and modern EMUs usually have dynamic (even regenerative) braking as well.
I have put this up as a bug report which I believe is being worked on but I thought I'd put it here as well to keep it visible.

Multiple LODs depending from distance work under MSTS and not under OR. I think it is quite a useful feature (a feature enable/disable checkbox could be made available), especially for people with slow computers.
