Been watching the development of those locos on UKTS, wanted to say congrats on putting together an excellent loco. The detail of the close-ups is amazing and I'm glad the final product can finally come to life thanks to OR.

Cheers,

Hi'ya jkxx, I think I've gone as far as I need to with the K35 as a model, I'm now tuning the ENG and it's looking good despite the raw state of the physics, half TS/Half OR.

This is my current project for RW, a digression from UKS 3ft NG into UK 2ft NG. The locomotive will probably have an OR version, too, just for fun.

The experimental artwork is 'modelled' not 2d artwork on a texture.

Another run up from Chama to Cumbres with the K35 and a test consist of 5 tankers and caboose, showed a consistent time achieved that was in line with previous test runs.
Chama, departed 1201;
Lobato, arrived 1215;
Cresco, arrived 1243;
Coxo, arrived 1256;
Cumbres, arrived 1305.

The above test run under OR V160.

hey Captain - you had better be careful running to Cumbres because the Labato bridge burned last week.

Yes, Bill, a sad event....but thankfully, in our virtual world, it's standing tall and proud and sound! Reality, who needs it!? http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/negative.gif

The K37 project is put to one side, in favour of K36, which will be of more use prototypically on the most USNG routes than the 37. Sometimes you have to make a hard decision and go with the flow........

Although I don't have specific plans, thankfully Baldwins are very predictable in their designs and I have plenty of pieces to steal off other models, so that will save a lot of time. The Quick Pic book has almost TOO much detail, but there's enough information that the project can commence in the near future.
