You know...
Maybe RR deletes "alternative" textures, not listed in *.sd-files, while ORTS doesn't use *.sd-s
This way, You could run Your route normally without proper statements in *.sd-s, while RouteRiter acted according to actual *.sd's it reads?

My route will work in either OR or MSTS. For whatever reason, Route-Rite deleted the snow textures that the route needed and I'm really not sure what else it did. So just to be on the safe side I replaced the entire route without compacting it. Ove the years I have had R-R delete needed files, mostly small pieces of track but never anything like this.

Now I know, the nature of missing textures or track pieces on some downloaded routes!
