Steve,
Great shots. I'm not aware of that route. Where is it?
Thanks Jim

Jim,
I can't read the language in the route documentation, but I believe its in Austria. Some of the European routes are beautifully sceniced and fun to explore. I know some folks get wrapped around the axle about running it with American equipment, but I don't obsess over it; sometimes it's fun to just run what I'm in the mood for.

Yeah Steve, I do the same thing sometimes, running amock. Sometimes I'll hook-up a engine, a coach, and a parlor car, and scoot along the rgs narrow gauge at totally unrealistic speeds, just for the heck of it.

Steve,
I understand, I got the Swiss-Bernina route. Its narrow gauge and I ran some US NG on it. 8 percent grade killed it though. The scenery is awesome, and a fun route even using the foreign equipment.

I've often thought about adding snow drifts to a 'winterised' version of the loco.
Attractive shots...the winter scene even feels chilly.
Cheers Bazza

you could also add a snowplow to put some of the snow on...and put a little bit of snow on top of the tender and the coal...kinda like the 2-8-0 on Donner Pass
