Jeeze Josh, good story. Don't know about anyone else, but I don't care about running trains without running a story in my mind about the people side of why they're doing what they're doing. Lucky Coonskin, he gets to do both, and gets to come home and relive the stories on his computer. Thanks Josh.

George

George

What's wrong with just running trains, taking snapshots of moments we enjoy or a particular area that's
of interest without being a story writer. Some of us just enjoy running trains through lovely scenery and
feeling the stress and strain drain from our bodies. Life doesn't have to be complicated all the time. Enjoy
and smell the roses. If I have to run a story line everytime I want to post a shot or two, I just won't bother
at all.

Everybody has their own way of enjoying their trains. No one is right and no one is wrong.

Well... not exactly.

After thrashing cars in a yard, hustling over the main and praying to God you don't hit the Soccer Mom in the SUV that's full of kids as she barrels down on the crossing oblivious to my approaching train that's about to bust it at the allowable, etc... I don't particularly want to sit down and relive all the moments via computer simulation of what I do.

However, what I DO enjoy is recreating history with MSTS and/or indulging in a time long gone or a route long gone.
