While anticipating Tim Muirs' PE route, I thought I'd try moving Wayne Campbell's little gem to California as a psuedo PE switching route. Some appropriate foliage, a few added srtuctures and repainting the terrtex are the major changes. Still a wip. Hope I have the images in correctly.

Holy cow, Steve, that looks great! Would you like the PE-style wig-wags? (The gadget is mounted on a wood pole)

What a good idea. It looks like a whole different route! Nicely done.

Thank you very much, boys. I've really enjoyed the L&PS module over the years. It's just a jewel of a route. I'd sure love to use the wig-wag, Tim. It'd be great at Bathurst and Colborne or Bathurst and Burwell and add much "PE ambiance"! Here are a few more screens.

Wow, more great shots! I've sent you a PM for email addies, so will get going on this. There's also a set of PE right-of-way signs I did years ago in the library here, if you don't already have it. It's under scenery/signals and signs.

WoW.

That is nice.

I had to look twice to figure out where You were on the map,

Very nicely done. I would run that if I had the time to make a version myself.

Here are some added screens. I still have a lot of the terrtex's to paint. I hope to get to it this weekend. The L&PS module is a great switching route. You'd be surprised at how long it takes to complete a simple activity at switching speeds (5mph max). Easily maxes my my attention span.

I've only just started the modifications to the (I think) north end. Tim Muir's Thompson's Grocery is at Bathurst and Maitland.

Excellent work - I really love the atmosphere given simply by changing the terrtex and trees (plus a few other things :D ).

Looking forward to seeing some more shots.

Thank you all for your kind remarks. Here's a quick screen of the 16 tonner at the intersection of Burwell, Bathurst and Hamilton where I've installed a wig-wag graciously provided by Tim Muir. They look and sound really nice. Glad I don't live next to one, though! The crossbucks are from Tim's P-E sign package available here.

These two screens show the only modification I've made to the drivable track plan. I hated to do it, but I just couldn't get a hopper or gon in and out of the John Mann siding without cars bucking or stalling completely. So...I extended the track straight out for another industry (Wayne's Sutherland Press for now) along Bathurst St. Thompson's is next to the Press and is a popular eatery. I've tried to make it look like a switch was removed before the street was paved over. John Mann now receives and delivers by truck only. What do you guys think?

I love it. :D Two suggestions, Steve. First, you can lower your tile object count by removing any cross-bucks next to a wig-wag. PE didn't place them when they had a wigwag installed. I guess they figured it would be redundant. And it was customary to place only one per crossing, with exceptions, of course. Second, about cars binding on tight curves, try removing the Comment brackets around the CouplingHasRigidConnection code:
Wagon ( MILW_USRA_701017
comment( Single door box car )
	Type ( Freight )
	WagonShape ( MILW_USRA_701017.s )
	  FreightAnim ( usra_ss_50xm_parts.s 1 1 )
	Size ( 3.1m 4.6m 13.45m )
	  comment( 18.144t empty, 56.24t full )
	Mass ( "46.24t" )
	WheelRadius ( 33in/2 )
	InertiaTensor ( Box ( 3.1m 4.6m 13.45m ) )
	Coupling (
		comment ( Front Coupler )
		Type ( Automatic )
		Spring (
			Stiffness ( 9.8e5N/m 1.76e6N/m )
			Damping ( 1.77e6N/m/s 1.77e6N/m/s )
			Break ( 2.45e7N 1.78e6N )
			r0 ( 0cm 4cm )
		)
	Comment ( CouplingHasRigidConnection ( ) )

So it reads: CouplingHasRigidConnection ( )

This will allow those big cars' couplers to virtually bend side to side, instead of being stiff. :D
