I remember seeing yellow stop signs up in to the 80s so they weren't all changed out over night.

Some news…
At the Charles City Western Ry. Passengers can now also be transported, railcar number 50 is completed and is ready for departure from Charles City.
Run through the industrial area of Charles City.
The underpass of the Illinois Central tracks.
On the Milwaukee Road overpass.
Grade crossing
Flagstop Nilesville.
The bridge over the Cedar River.
The Colwell terminus is almost reached.
Ready for the return journey.
The photographer needed a bit of luck to catch this train crossing.
The route itself is now almost complete. Engine number 300 and a box engine are still to be built. Then I can provide the route. :)

A great body of work! I'm a bit rusty with my traction knowledge, but was it the CCW that owned a platform observation trolley?
Anyway, congratulations on a wonderful looking route and equipment. The #50 looks great. :thumbup3: :thumbup3:

Oh, and Malte, I stumbled upon this this morning. It had expired, but he's just relisted it.

Kind of serendipitous. Just in case you had a turn table. ;)
