After clicking away the error message, RunActivity.exe remains as a process in the task manager. Only after the process is explicitly terminated does the OR start screen appear again.
Thanks for looking at this, although it doesn't affect everyone!
Unstable Versions after 22 Nov crash on start up

I have tried installing all unstable versions after 22 November. (All in separate installations.) None of them will run an activity. All crash after start up. The last functional version is U2023.11.22-2037 I have attached log files from the last functional version and the first non-functional version.
This should be fixed in U2023.12.01-2037. Failures in accessing WMI during system data collection will now result in missing data in the log but no crash.
The error does indicate some kind of system issue, but very unlikely to be of concern. As it was the same request that failed in all logs, it could also be anti-virus or some other protection system blocking it.
If someone who had this crash could post their log file after updating to (and running) the fixed version, I would be interested to see which things are failing and which are not.

The bug is gone on my computer! Here is the log file:

Before I updated it regularly via the OR menu window, I had downloaded the new version U2023.12.01-2037 from https://james-ross.c...jects/or/builds separately and then started it in an extra folder. Windows Defender then reported and wanted me to allow Internet access. Your assumption with an interfering anti-virus etc. seems likely.
Thanks for the fix James!
