Yes (thanks): I didn't notice any anounces about inclusion of that new code into testing versions as well.
But something did change, anyway.

In the latest Unstable version I have added a switch to automatically switch between the old Advanced adhesion algorithm and the newer Polach algorithm. This will help older machines which may not be able to cope with the more CPU intense Polach algorithm.

It will switch if to the older adhesion algorithm if the FPS drops below 30fps and will switch back to the newer Polach version if the fps are > 40fps. If it has selected the older version then the "Wheel Adhesion and Maximum wheel adhesion" will indicate 99%, whereas the normal value with the Polach version is around 50%.

Let me know if there are any issues.

To test this feature I have released an update to the NS model.

This version also has dynamic load adjustment - ie the diesel mass reduces as diesel and sand are consumed. This can impact on the locomotive adhesive weight and friction.
