Poland have buy from CCCP similar type of loco. It was something between soviet VL10 and VL11. In Poland loco was marked as type 112E in PKP as ET42. Here cab and outside. Strongest locos in pl.Ahh and they have dynamic braking.

Thanks the big, Jan: I've seen these models on polish MSTS site (from where CMK route was downloaded), and during this discussion I tried to find some way for ask You to tell any details about them, as I've been interested. Also I've seen ТЭМ2-like switcher model, in addition to already known Gagarin/ST-44 light mainline diesel.
What about locomotive's cab on photo - ВЛ 11 had the same "crocodile" in cab, while the "wheel" appeared only in ВЛ15, after AC 80(?), 84 and 85.

Glad to know that.
The best models of the "original", I know are from railroadsim.net (by the way)
Take a look at photo above (the top of front window) someone have added third zero, so max speed reading is 1000 km/h now :)

That's it. Or Georgian.
Old Italian beasts have similar idea in design, but smaller in size.

Some early British d.c. locos had similar controllers.
