It is available on the website, from GitHub and from the Launchpad Project Tracker. The package will install Open Rails on your Windows PC.
If you already have Open Rails installed, then set the Options > Update mode to Stable (recommended)
and look out for the Update to 1.5 link, which is refreshed every day.
A list of new features and changes is also available on the website and from GitHub.
There is also a -minute video on YouTube which introduces them.
Finally, a big thank you to the guys that make this possible; admins, coders, testers, bug reporters and our hosts,
here at Elvas Tower (thanks, Dave) and at UKTrainSim.

Hi, I think you meant Open Rails Stable Version 1.5. Congratulations on the release, by the way! :-)

Downloaded 1.5 this AM and for some reason the display dims when running 1.5. Game itself runs fine, I can load activities and what not, but it's now difficult to see. I adjusted the Ambient Daylight Brightness setting, etc. to no avail.
Is there any way to download 1.4 again?
Thanks!

Yes, the installer for v1.4 is at http://openrails.org...s-1.4-Setup.exe
I'm sorry you have been disappointed by v1.5. No one has mentioned this as an issue before, so I am wondering what is special about your system.
Would you be willing to help us track down the code change that made the difference? There have been many changes since Stable Version 1.4, so it would mean downloading and installing a number of versions to narrow down the time window.

Sure, I would be glad to help - do you need the OR log file? Would LAA settings used for 1.4 carry over/conflict with 1.5? It's one thing I haven't gotten around to looking into yet.

Yes, please attach the log file to your reply.
V1.5 ignores the LAA settings. It delivers 32-bit on 32-bit Windows with a 2GB limit and 64-bit on 64-bit Windows with no limit.
When you revert your installation to v1.4, does that restore the brightness OK?

Yes reverting to 1.4 put the brightness back to normal. Log file for OR 1.5 attached.

Let's move this topic to a dedicated thread to keep it separate from other issues with v1.5. I've started a new thread Dim display in v1.5.

I downloaded the 1.5 version to test it, but I was not able to use the trackviewer to create path without crashing.
I stay on 1.4 stable version for the next exhibition, but did u encounter such issue on your side with 1.5 version ?
I discovered also that I have recurrent trouble to open TSRE5 v7.012 now, is there a relationship between the two tools ?

None, they are totally separate.
