The first problem:
after save/load, the OR start with zero speed of wheel.
the second problem:
after save/load OR does not respect the setting of the ORTSCurtius_Kniffler parameter

At the beginning of the video the locomotive has a wheelslip. My settings ORTSCurtius_Kniffler (5.37 33 0.086 0.7) weight of locomotive 75t. ORTSDriveWheelWeight ( 75.0t )
Before save, the slip is 48%, the condition of 100% adhesion of the locomotive 15%.
After load, during the pause the wheel slip is 0%, the condition is 0%, the locomotive adhesion is 0% and the wheel speed is 0 km/h. The difference between the speed of the locomotive and the speed of the wheel is 0km/h.
After canceling the pause, the condition and speed of the wheels increase. After the end of wheel slip, the slip is only 21%, not 48%, condition 100% and the displayed adhesion of the locomotive 15%. After stopping the train, the locomotive does not wheelslip as at the beginning of the video. The ORTSCurtius_Kniffler parameter (5.37 33 0.086 0.7) was probably set to the default values of 7.5 44 0.161 0.7.

At the beginning of the video, the locomotive has a wheel slip with a throttle setting of 44%. My settings ORTS Curtius Kniffler (7.3 64 0.13 0.7) weight of the locomotive 89t. ORTSDriveWheelWeight ( 89.0t ).
Before save, the slip is 42%, the condition of 100% adhesion of the locomotive 18%.
After load, during the pause the wheel slip is 0%, the condition is 0%, the locomotive adhesion is 0% and the wheel speed is 0 km/h. The difference between the speed of the locomotive and the speed of the wheel is -80km/h.
After canceling the pause, the condition and speed of the wheels increase. After the end of wheel slip, the slip is only 33%, not 42%, condition 100% and the displayed adhesion of the locomotive 18%. After stopping the train, the locomotive does not wheelslip with a throttle setting of 44% , as at the beginning of the video.
The ORTSCurtius_Kniffler parameter (7.3 64 0.13 0.7) was probably set to the default values of (7.5 44 0.161 0.7).

I have added a patch to the Unstable version to:
i) Ensure that user defined adhesion values are used in the advanced adhesion calculations (was using the default values)
ii) Restore the previous operational values to the advanced adhesion model when resuming. (Note: The AA module uses some integration calculations which require a small amount of time to populate. Hence when Resume is used until the Esc key is pressed, values in the HuD may not be the same as the saved values. Once started the adhesion model values should "restore" to the saved values.
Please give it a go, and let me know if it is now "fixed".

The issues with saving the slip value after save/load is solved. But there is still a problem with zero wheel speed.
diesel before save
Diesel after save/load in pause:
Conditions 1988%.
Wheel speed is zero.
The difference between the speed of the wheel and the locomotive is -57.6 km/h.
The correct wheel speed should be +57.6 km/h and the difference between wheel speed and locomotive speed 0 km/h
Therefore, there is a wheelslip after unpause.
After balancing the speed of the wheel and the locomotive.
The same thing happens with an electric locomotive.
Electric locomotive after save/load in pause:
Conditions -2788%.
Wheel speed is zero.
The difference between the speed of the wheel and the locomotive is -80.7 km/h.
The correct wheel speed should be +80.7 km/h and the difference between wheel speed and locomotive speed 0 km/h
Therefore, there is a wheelslip after unpause.
After balancing the speed of the wheel and the locomotive.

I believe that the initial values shown by OR are as a result of a time function not being restored when OR resumes. It does restore once the OR is started by pressing the Esc key.
I am not sure how to fix this, and have sort input from other developers.
In the meantime, does the locomotive recover quickly from any wheel slip that you have noticed once the Esc key is pressed?

Yes, the wheel slip lasts a few seconds.
In version U2020.07.08-0621, there is no wheel slip when the esc key is pressed.

I have managed to put a solution in place to restore the time function, and hopefully this should all be ok now.

The electric locomotive is also without wheel slip. But to develop traction force it takes a few seconds. This happened to me with an electric locomotive using the function ORTSTractionCharacteristics.
Axle drive force is zero.
Axle out of force is zero.
Two electric locomotives with function ORTSMaxTractiveForceCurves. Everything is alright.
