Thanks for that Arnold. Beware though that if you download this and install it afteryou have installed my model, the 3d cab and other effects will be missing. You need the .eng file from my upload, plus fire.s and .sd plus fireman.s and .sd, and shadow.s and .sd to be in the engine's folder (not the CABVIEW3D folder.)

If you want to add the 3d cab to another engine within this folder, you need to copy the .eng file for ccw_br_4mt_42073_EC.eng, and change all the instances of 42073_EC for the new engine number. Then save as ccw_br_4mt_42085_EC.eng for instance.

If you want to add the 3d cab to another engine altogether, then you need to copy the CABVIEW3D folder into that engine's folder and copy the fire, and fireman s and sd files into that folder too. And then edit the .eng file as above. You would only need the shadow.s and .sd if the engine is the same model.

I hope that is clear.

I uploaded a small video to youtube of the engine running on the Potteries Loop line by Bob Pegg.

That's a lovely 3D cab.

I've seen some of your videos before on Youtube (in fact they convinced me to download the Potteries Loop Line), but I was not aware of this locomotive.

Great work!

Nice video thank you. Sounds like you have Carlo's excellent DemoAutoSounds which really enhance a route in my opinion.

Hi Geoff,

Fantastic little cab - looks absolutely beautiful - nice video posted above as well.

This also clearly illustrates - we need ORTS Camera Movement - SMOOTHED out - the jerky stuttering camera movement associated with ORTS detracts from anything we do with it. The camera needs weight and inertia like we have in modern Flight Sims. Also - if we could have a couple of stored views inside the 3D Cab that we could access via a button press would make things better as well - like zoom to the out the front - zoom to the gauge cluster - etc etc etc.

Regards,
Scott

I have now uploaded another short video to Youtube.
Openrails Jubilee at St Pancras. - YouTube

This time it is the Jubilee cab, with AWS (Train Protection Warning System) and other stuff.

Another nice video, thanks Geoff. Although judging by the way the tender is bouncing around in the internal views I think the PW gang might need to check that trackwork lol.
