After 10 minutes switching, freight, & adding on on helper engine 360 (Engineer Braswell & fireman in the cab{the 360 left Gunnison at 2:55 AM}), the train climbs the hill.
Soon, the train reaches Cerro Summit.
After the 360 is decoupled & returns to Gunnison, the 361 continues it's trip west.
Soon, the train reaches Cedar Creek to cool down the wheels.

The crew went back on duty at 1 PM, & did 50 minutes switching, & the train departs at 1:55 PM with 1 bricks for Gunnison, 2 empty tanks & a caboose. The 2 tanks came from the daily northbound mixed train from Ouray.
At Fairview, the train takes the siding to meet the westbound Shavano.
