Boy Steve, those snaps remind me so much of a car trip across the Midwest in February of 1980. Fog. Constant and continuous fog. Being from Southern California and near the coast I'm familiar with driving in fog but it usually eases up as the day progresses. Not in Iowa! All day long with the weak taillights of the cars ahead going in and out of view. White knuckle express! :shock6:
Just so this post is not totally off topic, I'm even used to fog in the sim: No 2 in the fog at Fallberg on the Redwood Pacific Railway & Navigation Co. North end of the NCR route, backdated and narrow gauged.
Hard to see signals from the rear end! :bigboss:

I'm enjoying all these shots.
And those signs! Been a long time since I saw a sign that said "Dip". I remember how hilarious that sign seemed to my classmates in middle school.

Sometimes middle school is forever. I've never heard a fart joke I didn't laugh at.

They still use Dip signs here semi-regularly. I guess the only thing I've thought when seeing one (after a quick glance at the speedometer) was "this one's gonna hurt"
