The train rolls over Cascade Creek trestle.
The train soon stops behind the westbound freight & rotary train because the rotary (the OM was used on this day) derailed just beyond the est switch at Los Pinos because of ice.
After rotary OM was re-railed (it took the crew 3 hours to re-rail the rotary), the trains get underway; the San Juan is seen passing the water tank at Los Pinos.
