As the train heads east...
... it pulls into Sargent at 8:25 AM. Sargent was a helper site for eastbound trains. There is a water tank, wye, turntable, section house, & a roundhouse.
After setting out the 7 coal loads, adding 3 helpers (K-37's 49, 493, & 495), & meeting the westbound Shavano, the train departs Sargent at 9:30 AM with the 42 stock loads.
