In the OR NewYear MG version I have slightly reduced the font size, and replaced a Serif type with a Sans Serif type in the 2D cabviews. Accordingly to my tests this provides outcomes that are more similar to those of MSTS, with which practically all 2D cabviews have been built.
So the question is whether this change should be made also in the official OR version or not.

I think that's a good idea, since the previous default font OR used was always too big and didn't stylistically match what MSTS always used. I've already manually updated many of my cabviews to use different fonts than the default, so as long as this global change wouldn't affect those, I'm all for it! http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/thumbup3.gif

I thought cab font type and size was adjustable in the CVF? Is that going to change, I prefer using digital fonts ( current favorite is Digital-7 Mono ) for cabs with digital displays.

I believe this is just the default font.You should always be able change it with the "ORTSFont" value, but the sans-serif font as a default is probably a better starting point then the serif-style font that was sort of a holdover from DOS terminal windows.

Yes, that's just the new default. ORTSFONT remains as it is now.

Is it not possible to made a expansion for ORTSFont?
=> ORTSFontRotation ( 90 ) => 90 degrees example.
This wil very usefull for 2D cabviews for align/match digital displays with displays on picture of 2D cabview.
