Dave,
I believe that Rick's Centipedes would fit your timescale.

Okay, now let me tell you guys a little story... (I hope he doesn't mind me recounting the story.)
I decided, being rather unhappy with a lot the Diesels in the PRR-East release, got ready to change them up. In this process, I decided to build a FA for Tyler Bundy's Conrail GP10s, to make it into a reasonable PRR GP9, I then had second thoughts, and casually wondered if Tyler could build me a PRR speced GP9.
So I asked him via a PM on T-S, the PM bounced, He knew about it, and he knew my e-mail from when I beta-tested something from him (ACL Phosphate Hoppers). He said I could e-mail him to ask him stuff.
I asked if he could do a PRR GP9. A few weeks passed...
And then, this turned up in my inbox.
Yes, ladies and geltlemen, this is a PRR spec-GP9, with a Trainphone Antenna. And then he decided to do a few more versions...
Yes, there are three different versions of the classic PRR GP9. I don't know what I owe Tyler Bundy, but I owe him something for his efforts.
This is one re-skin in progress. If he runs for office, I'm voting for Tyler Bundy.

OK. Pretty much done with the E7s. The 'update' will also include additional locomotives, so that ABA sets of four paint schemes are covered, from oldest to newest (screen shots at Atlantic City on the Blue comet route:
As delivered (1947)
Five stripe tuscan red (~1953)
Single stripe tuscan red (~1958)
Simplified single stripe (~1960s)
E8's next

The E7s are done, will be uploaded to Valleypass in the next day or so as an upgrade for the owners of PRR passenger set. This will be followed up with upgraded E8s, PAs and eventually passenger cars, plus upgrades to the DGLE as-built versions of the E7, E8 and PA.
The upgraded E7s include significantly more detail than the originals. They are completely compatible with the original set and the original consists, though the textures and the models have been completely redone. They operate on Open Rails and MSTS.
