All,
I have submitted (uploaded) the Pennsylvania RR Eastern Region Version 2 to the Trainsim.com File Library.
There will be a day or two waiting period while the upload is scanned for bad things and proper formatting.
I wish to thank the Open Rails developers for making this release possible.
Couldn't have done it without their help writing special code to isolate and eliminate the many database errors in the route.
I've pretty much spruced up the entire route, installed eight operational turntables, rebuilt all of Philadelphia, and several interlockings, got rid of a ton of Dynamic Track.
Dynamic Shadows (DS) have been enabled for ALL trackside scenery to about 200m each side of the ROW.
This will impact frame rates if you run with DS on in Open Rails, especially in the Philadelphia area.
Thank you all the members of the Train Simulator Community for your support. I've had such a ball participating in the development of this wonderful new Sim and the absolutely unbelievable new Route Editor, TSRE5.
Best Regards,
Vince

Vince has done a tremendous job! I thought that an update to my existing track diagram would be simple, but whether it is due to my own errors or using an outdated route version, it has turned into a major rework. New turntables, redesigned track, revised signals, all contribute to a better expetience. Thank you Vince.

Wow. Almost 18 years after the initial release of MSTS, the community gets this unbelievable redone route. It's incredible. Well done Vince!

Vince, Thankful for your generous time and efforts in updating this popular route.
Also seeing the disparity of download times ( download for me was 1min 9sec to completion) shows how unequal the service is for the so called world wide web...now being used as defacto utility to connect to financial institutions, medical, pay bills, manage lifes everyday affairs....it is being treated as a necessity of modern life, but the accessibility is wildly unequal or downright price prohibitive for many. Reforms are needed.Just flappin' my yap!
Thanks for the route, Vince.

Hi Gerry, my download times for Trainsim are high only because I'm not a paying member of Trainsim... downloads from sites where there is no such distinction are quite speedy also for me.
