I have problems in unpacking that big file. But could you try applying the attached patch to ORNYMG 151.1?
Attached File  LightsPatch2.zip (1.43MB)
Number of downloads: 7

I use the code of the Unstable release. Can you please check if you have the same problem with the latest Unstable release?

I could reproduce the problem and can confirm that it occurs also in the Unstable release. New thread created in the Maybe it's a bug subforum.

Hi,
I have a concern in merging your improvements.

The problem I'm facing right now is finding a version of Open Rails that satisfy 3 simple demands.

1. Source Code available for the game I use and code in.
2. Rendering of 3D cab just as good as 1.4 | 1.5.1-unstable | NewyearMG
the available code from https://github.com/Csantucci/openrails can't do 3Dcabs don't know if you know that.
3. Reshade working.

This is how that looks.
Attached File  3Dcabs_flicking_in_1.5.1.jpg (114.97K)
Number of downloads: 1

Right now only 1.4 handles all 3

1.5.1 stable can't 2 & 3

James Ross's wind effect precipitation version is 3 days newer than my version of unstable, and do 1 and 2 but has the old map window (maybe it's not unstable)
but don't crash on start up with SpriteBatch stuff.

1.5.1 Unstable the version I downloaded also do 1 & 2 and has the new Map window, but it crash on startup and 3-9 times of retries are needed.

The binary version of NewyearMG do 2 & 3.

Right now Ross's version seams most attractive since it do 1 & 2 and has the wind effect I want, and maybe I can restore the RunActivatyLAA.exe to get reshade working again in that.

Any comments and suggestion are welcome.

Strange that 3Dcabs don't work if you build ORNYMG from the sources while they work if you run the downloadable executables. The downloadable executables are generated from these sources, that is https://github.com/Csantucci/openrails , branch OR_NewYear_MG_NoWD.

Don't know if these version numbers will tell something:

Attached File  ORNYMG_github_19-03.2024.jpg (71.82K)

No OpenRails64.exe in that version either.

Binary downloaded version:
OpenRails64.exe present.
Attached File  BinVersion_ORNYMG.jpg (43.24K)
Number of downloads: 1

The Unstable I'm working in:

Number of downloads: 2

James Ross's 'version' with no flickering 3Dcab.
Attached File  Ross.jpg (6.26K)
Number of downloads: 1

I am not able to say why you don't get Openrails64.exe when building the ORNYMG pack. But as an escape you can take Openrails64.exe and Openrails64.pdb from the downloaded executable pack and copy them in the Program folder where your home-made build puts the executables.
